Our staff of licensed professionals is always available to help students navigate the challenges of adolescence and boarding school. No problem is too big or too small to discuss with a counselor.

Under the general oversight of the director of counseling, counselors are available to assist students with the variety of challenges, 变化, and concerns that develop during adolescence and during school, 包括焦虑, 抑郁症, 人际关系冲突, 成就的冲突, and concerns about social choices. Short-term outpatient treatment is provided at no cost. 学生 and parents are encouraged to seek out a counselor regarding personal or emotional concerns with a student. Five licensed therapists provide 24-hours-a-day, 一周七天, on-call emotional crisis evaluations and counseling. If long-term treatment is needed, students may be referred to appropriate private licensed professionals in the community. 父母 are routinely notified if ongoing treatment or support is provided or if issues of safety arise. Psychiatric consultation is also available to students who request medication evaluations and diagnostic consultations. 通常, students who are prescribed medication are also seen in brief psychotherapy in the counseling department.
Please note that fees for psychiatric services are not included in the health and medical fee of tuition. 父母 must make separate arrangements for payment.
